“Dead
on Arrival” is a term which relates to the non-operation
or premature failure of a new lamp (within 14 days of
invoice). In this event the lamp must be repackaged
in the same carton in which it was received, and returned
within a suitable outer wrap, to Lampz for inspection.
You
should include your full contact details and a copy
of your purchase order, our invoice or delivery note.
Please ensure carriage to Lampz is prepaid and the lamp
is fully insured. If your claim for a replacement under
the terms of warranty is authorized, you will also be
reimbursed for these carriage charges. An invoice from
you to Lampz will be required.

Every
care will be taken to ensure the lamp you purchase is
securely packaged. In the unlikely event that it is
received in a damaged condition, you should return the
lamp to Lampz in its’ original packaging, within
a suitable & robust outer carton, in order that
we may inspect both lamp and packaging for physical
damage. We strongly advise that you note the statement
which now appears to be common amongst carriers “received
in good condition”. This should be struck out
& replaced with “unexamined” or “in
damaged condition”. If appropriate take photographs.
Claims must be logged verbally within 24 hours and confirmed
in writing within 72 hours of receipt (Email, Facsimile
or hard copy by post).
